Happy Wanderers Ambulance Organisation

Happy Wanderers Ambulance Organisation provides help to older and disabled people with special transport needs.

We need your help to enable people, often confined to their own homes, to "go places and meet others" and stay connected within their own communities.

In 2018 we received an award at the Harrogate and District Volunteer Oscars in recognition of 60 years service to the local area.

After the national lockdowns we are now delighted that our mini-buses are both back on the road and we are again supporting older and disabled people "to go places and meet people".

Happy Wanderers is run totally by volunteers and relies entirely on donations and our own fundraising activities to keep our specially adapted mini buses on the road; a charge is never made for the use of our vehicles.
