21 March 2024
THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate District is now open for grant fund applications for the 2024 allocation!
THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate district is once again open for applications for funding up to £3,000 for community organisations in the district.
Applications can be made until 13th May 2024, for funding to specifically address needs of local people around issues like inequality and poverty, loneliness and social isolation and improving health and wellbeing.
In the last financial year, THE LOCAL FUND funded 23 projects awarding £55,340 to enable community groups to continue to support local people all over the Harrogate district.
Focusing on small local voluntary organisations who keep people connected with each other and their communities, grants of up to £3,000 from THE LOCAL FUND could help older people have activities they enjoy, make new opportunities available for young people, ensure sports clubs can continue, improve mental health and wellbeing, and ensure people affected by the cost of living crisis get the support they need.
Local Harrogate district community groups and projects can now apply for grant funds from THE LOCAL FUND for the Harrogate District supported by donations from THE LOCAL LOTTO alongside private donors.
